Love the photos of the outer Hebrides You cast a spell of things fey . I especially enjoyed your skies I am a very amateur photographer , skies are one of my favorite subjects My husband and I will be traveling to these Island in 2017 my ancestors are from the Isles of South Uist and Benbecula any info you can give me would be appreciated
Hi Jeanette, glad you enjoyed my photo story. I am afraid I have only been to Harris and Lewis, though I know I will be returning to see the rest of the isles. My advice would be to rent a car and go out on beautiful long drives, stopping at the rocky outposts and watching the skies and seas blend into one another. In fact, take the ferries if you can. Darn, why didn’t I do that!
